Assembling the Pastry Bag

Follow the steps below to secure piping tip to pastry bag.

  1. Separate coupler from base (if needed).

  2. Insert base into pastry bag. Align bag so it fully covers the ridges.

  3. Insert tip into coupler.

  4. Attach coupler to base, twisting firmly.

Filling the Pastry Bag

Place the prepared pastry bag into a tall drinking glass. Fold the top of the bag around the glass. Use a spoon to fill the bag with batter or frosting.

Using the Pastry Bag

Once filled, gather the top of the bag together and gently twist. Use your dominant hand to hold the bag closed and gently apply pressure. Use your other hand as a guide for the piping tip.
